In this video, I will share the best ever road bike that I have built for criterium racing. A dream road bike build! This is a complete bike build video where you will see Jae from Omara Cycles build up a CHAPTER2 Rere with Zipp 808 wheels, SRAM Force 1x road, Quarq power meter, and a CHAPTER2 mana cockpit area.

This is the best road bike I’ve built for criterium racing for a number of factors. The CHAPTER2 Rere frame is an aerodynamic road bike shape. The Zipp 808 wheels are probably the most aero wheels on the market, and SRAM Force 1x is a groupset best designed for flat circuits. By removing the front derailleur and a second front ring, you’re not only saving weight, but you’re also getting aerodynamic efficiency gains too.

This bike build was completed over two evenings, with Jae – a pedantic road bike builder – putting in almost 10 hours of building time.
