How to Bike With 200 Pounds of Groceries-Boulder Food Rescue

Boulder Food Rescue is an amazing organization that distributes food to low income areas in Boulder, and they do it by bicycle! They pick up quality food from grocery stores that would otherwise go to waste, pack it on bikes (up to 200lbs) and deliver it all over Boulder. I had the pleasure of doing a shift with Hayden Dansky, the executive director. It was an incredible experience. Here’s a crazy stat, In America today, 60 million tons of food go to waste every year! Organizations like Boulder Food Rescue are so important.
