In this video, I show you how to fuel your body properly in order for you to have a good, strong mountain bike ride. Fueling your body should start the night before. Having a good healthy dinner the night before packed full of proteins, minerals and vitamins will help you a lot, it dictates how you will feel in the morning after. If you have a good healthy dinner, you will wake up feeling energized and ready to shred the gnar. When you wake up, you’ll want to have another strong healthy meal. Key tip: Drink lots of water throughout the day and the night before. For breakfast, I usually like to have a kale and mango smoothie or another combination of vegetables and fruit in a smoothie. While they may not taste the best, they prepare my body to perform well out on the trails. Try to stay away from sugary cereals because while they may benefit you at first and taste good and make you feel full, they will make you feel like crap when you start the climb. DO NOT, skip a PRD (pre ride dump) it will save your butt later on, take the time, it’ll be worth it. Make sure you pasck lots of water and snacks when you go out riding, I usally take a few clif bars and a bananaa or spple, those work really well for helping me feel energuized. #mountainbiketips #howtoprepareformtb #healthyfood
