"Upcycling" old bike parts into handy tools

Shown here is how I made four tools – three knives, (two fixed and one folding) and a portable pruning-saw (also folding). As well as the steel from bike parts, the rest of the materials has been recycled from scavenged and/or foraged things that are easy to find and free. The wood for handles is foraged from woodland prunings or recycled floorboards. Also used are steel from and old bin and various reclaimed screws and bolts..
