Top 5 2018 Electric Mountain Bikes Review from Revolution Bikes

The Official Revolution Bikes Top 5 Electric Bikes of 2018.

Four of these bad boys are mountain bikes, and the 5th (also known as The Wife’s Bike) is a premium hybrid that suits anything from city riding to rail trail and your easier mountain bike tracks.

We made this video especially for you guys who can’t just drop into the bike shop to do your research (maybe you live out in the sticks, or down South, whatever), so consider it part of your discovery process when you’re looking to upgrade to a premium electric bike.

Apologies, some of the zooming on E-MTB #2 is pretty rough. In the interests of presenting an authentic home-movie it has been left as raw.

Thanks to Hilton’s Uncle Bruce who called in just at the right time to be part of the intro.

All the bikes that are shown are currently available in New Zealand in mid 2018, but it is expected that they will sell out, so do check on our website to see which models and sizes are available.

Revolution Bikes is a real bike shop, as you may gather from some of the background noises. We are dealers for a huge range of big brands but our favourites are the ones that are big overseas, but lesser known, and a bit more boutique and unique, in New Zealand.
Because who really wants to ride a bike that looks just the same as your mates bikes? For this reason we love the Spanish brand Mondraker (they ONLY make mountain bikes) and the French brand Moustache (they ONLY make electric bikes).

We’d expect that most people who watch this video will have some questions so please get in touch with us, we’re open 7 days, and it’s our passion to match people with the right bike. Give us a call, 06 877 8477, because it may be that we can recommend exactly what you’re looking for.

When you are in Hawke’s Bay call into our shop in Havelock North, where our friendly staff will make you feel welcome. It’s okay to bring the kids too, there is a special zone to keep them entertained.

For the spec and pricing of each of the eBikes featured please check their respective pages on our website, and bear in mind these are the 2018 models, a couple of them also have 2017 models with a completely different spec.
